You got use of the rugby club... Hmmm... How about a charity match between Bristol's team and the forum members here?
Except Digger, coz Aussies don't know how to play rugby... Lol... Not that I can say too much, being Scottish... But I'd be happy to play just about anywhere in the backs if we get a team together.
Or better yet (from my point of view), a basketball game!

So tarmac it and make an outdoor court...! And who needs to know the rules of rugby anyway? If you've got the ball, run over the opposite tryline and put it down; if you haven't got it, batter whoever has!

I am not sure where to put this so I'm gonna put it here A friend of our's 8 year old son was diagnosed wit CAPD just last week. His condition was misdiagnosed as ADD or ADHD prior to this. When I heard about it I thought of you guys. From what I am told CAPD is almost always diagnosed as ADD, ADHD or something similar but rarely for what it is. I don't know how many possibilities you guys have explored nor if you are already familiar with CAPD. I just thought I would let you know about it on the off chance you are unaware of this condition and it may (hopefully) be of use to you. Here is one of many links I have found regarding it. pages.cthome.net/cbristol/capd.htmlI really do hope this is of some use. Jacob is now getting specialized tutoring and is being put into a class for gifted children... it just sounds so like your story I had to mention it... Good luck!!

Wow... Who would've thought that Digger could post something useful...? Hahahaha... No offence Digger. I'm sure when Tinkerbell gets back she'll thank you herself, but have a "pre-emtive" thanx from me too!
Now stay a while and stop me getting bored. But we'd better transfer to off-topic for that...

Thanx Digger but i looked at the signs and symptoms of this disorder and it isnt in any way connected with Cameron "A CAPD is a receptive language disorder. It refers to difficulties in the decoding and storing of auditory information (typically incoming verbal messages). This type of receptive language disorder is a result of genetic factors and/or early otitis media though causal factors may not be able to be found. There are many signs and symptoms of CAPD, however a skilled audiologist would best be able to provide technological testing at age 7 and beyond." "Early Signs & Symptoms: Difficulty following verbal directions. this is sometimes the case for Camerons but this symptoms is included in a vast majority of conditions regarding childrenEcholalia (repeating back words and phrases without comprehension). Camerons comprehension is way above average skill levelRe-auditorization (repeating back what was heard, and then showing comprehension). Never noticed this lolA child who says "huh" or "what" and requires more repetitions of verbal input messages. Dont most kids do that these days? Speech sound discrimination difficulties, especially in noise. Highly distractible/active. yes but once again this can be used as a symtom of many other conditions Unintelligible speech, but with adequate vocal inflection and gestures. Again he is above average, he was holding full conversations at age 2Difficulty with memorizing names and places. Camerons has memorized almost every Train and Destination there is n the whole world let alone country, he gets interested in something then has to know it all!!Difficulty repeating words or numbers in sequence. not that i have noticed May have speech or language "delays." as stated before this is not the case I really appreciate the help Digger, but it is pretty certain that the condition he has is dyspraxia, he cannot hold a pencil properly and any kind of sports have always been difficult. He has had some tests done by an occupational therapist as it says in another thread although unofficially she has said that he scores highly on 4 out of 5 of his sensory profile. Which although doesnt mean and awful lot to us, to her means he has definate difficulties in motor skills, and balance and some of the basic things we all take for granted. The problem i have is not necessarily what hes got, but getting a diagnosis, i am almost 100% sure he has Dyspraxia. But the Authorities are saying that he does not need a label and it will not benefit him in life, on the other hand the Education authority are saying that without a diagnosis he is staying in a "naughty boys" school hence the need for a private diagnosis
