Hiya all,
just thought i would get everyone up to speed on what has (or hasn't ) been happening.
After our TV and newspaper appearances we had an Occupational therapist send out a Sensory Profile form for me to complete. This she studied and figured that Cameron scores high on 4 out of 5 of his basic senses, which would mean that there IS a very high chance that he does have Dyspraxia. This is all she is able to do without some sort of contribution by myself so that will remain unoffical for now *sigh*
I decided to change my Dr and my solicitor too, in the hope that the new ones would be able to shed some light on things.
The new Dr has put through a referral to an Occupational Therapist and a Physiotherapist but it has already been a month and we are no closer to actually being seen.
The new solicitor had to file for a transferal of the Legal Aid for the Legal Aid commission who refused to transfer the money. At first they said that they beleive my previous solicitor had done all she needed to. Understandably my new solicitor then filed an appeal against the decision based on the fat that Cameron has now been out of school almost a year and that if she had indeed done everything that needed doing he would be in school by now. So as of wednesday last week they have the go ahead to take over the case. ALTHOUGH the old solicitor is now being difficult with the papers and the new one cannot proceed until they receive them
Anyway so although things have been going on in the background....nothing is going anywhere *sigh* Cameron is still at home after almost a year,
there ya go all up to date
